Promogran Prisma Matrix Wound Dressing MA123 (19.1 sq. in.) (Box of 10)

• Prepare the wound per your standard wound care protocol and debride when necessary
• Promogran Prisma may be used when visible signs of infection are present in the wound area only when proper medical treatment addresses the underlying cause. Promogran Prisma Matrix is not intended to be a substitute for appropriate treatment of infection
• Hydrate Promogran Prisma with saline for wounds with low or no exudates

Application:

• Cut (using clean scissors) or tear the dressing to fit the wound, applying directly to the wound, covering the entire wound bed
• Promogran Prisma forms a gel on contact with exudates or through saline hydration
• Cover Promogran Prisma with a secondary dressing such as one of the Tielle Hydropolymer Dressings, as appropriate to maintain a moist wound healing environment

Reapplication:

• After initial application, reapply Promogran Prisma Matrix to the wound up to every 72 hours depending upon the amount of exudate
• Gently remove the secondary dressing
• It is not necessary to remove any residual Promogran Prisma Matrix during dressing changes as it will be naturally absorbed into the body over time

Promogran Prisma Matrix Wound Dressings are available in sizes 4"x4"² and 19.1"². Each size is available for purchase by the individual dressing or by a box of 10.

After the wound has closed, proven scar treatments such as Cica-Care, Mepiform, or Kelo-Cote will improve the appearance of scars and prevent abnormal or excessive scar formation. Always consult your physician or wound care specialist before starting any wound care treatment program.
