Kendall TED Thigh Hose Stockings reduce venous stasis in the entire leg. The clinically-proven graduated compression pattern from ankle to upper thigh helps ensure optimum blood flow velocity. TED anti-embolism stockings are designed to speed blood flow with graduated compression but are different from support stockings or compression hose in that they are used for non-ambulatory convalescing persons to prevent blood clots.
These stockings are nylon, full-foot with inspection OPEN toe.Click on Sizing Chart at the bottom of this page.
Size is determined from calf circumference and knee length
(distance from bend of knee to bottom of heel).

Regular non-ambulatory T.E.D. hose start to lose their compression after just a few washings. The continued care hose will last approximately six weeks or more. If you need compression hose for a longer period of time, please see the 15-20 compression hose made by Juzo, Jobst or Mediven. They can be washed daily and will last a minimum of six months
