TED anti-embolism stockings are designed to speed blood flow with graduated compression but are different from support stockings or compression hose in that they are used for non-ambulatory convalescing persons to prevent blood clots.
Jobst T.E.D. Anti-Embolism Stockings are LATEX FREE and designed to reduce venous stasis in the leg. The clinically-proven graduated compression pattern helps ensure optimum blood flow velocity. The stockings are available in a wide range of sizes, which helps facilitate proper fit and ensure the clinically-proven compression pattern.

Machine washable in lukewarm water with delicate fabric detergent. Tumble dry on low heat. Do not bleach, dry clean, or iron.
Replacing Your Garment
Regular non-ambulatory T.E.D. hose start to lose their compression after just a few washings. If you need compression hose for a longer period of time, If you need compression hose for a longer period of time, please see the 15-20 compression hose made by Juzo, Jobst or Mediven. They can be washed daily and will last a minimum of six months.
